How to Copy DVD movie to DVD floder, DVD disc and ISO file?
Step1. Download this DVD movie copy software. And also I think you need to buy several copies of DVD one time.
Step2. Run Xilisoft DVD movie copier. Do you think this DVD movie copy software has super solid and metallic interface? 
Step3. Insert a DVD-Video disc in your DVD ROM. The DVD movie copy program will auto-detect all drives on your computer and show the information in the “Source Combo box” and “Target Combo box”. Specify Source DVD Drive in “Source Combo box” and Specify Target Drive in “Target Combo box”.
Step 4.Set parameter
In the display area of the main interface, it shows three kinds of info:
- Copy mode
- Source
Show the source DVD info, including the location of the DVD, duration and capacity. If the program is under Main Movie Copy mode, it will show duration and capacity of the longest movie. - Target
Display the location of the target DVD and the copy mode (Support ISO, DVD folder, DVD burning drive).
Copy main movie: Copy the longest size movie.
If your computer is not equipped with any DVD burning drive, you can choose target as ISO or DVD folder. Use an outside DVD burner to copy them. Or, you can first back the ISO of DVD folder to a movable hard disk for future copying without inserting a source DVD again.
There is a litter arrow on the right panel of the main interface. Click it, a setting widow slipped out. You can set languages, skins, temporal file folder and DVD info here.
- Language - Support Chinese, English, Japanese and German.
- Skin - Two skin styles supported.
- Temporal file folder - It is where temporal files are posted to in the process of copying. When copy is finished, the temporal files folder will be automatically deleted. However, you'd better choose a big capability disc to post the temporal files to avoid any error in the copying process.
- Volume - Read only. Just ignore it.
- Audio, Subtitle - In the specification of the DVD designation, at most 32 kinds of subtitles and 8 language audio tracks are allowed to put in. When playing the DVD, one can select different subtitles to their like.
- Include menu - To copy DVD menu or not is up to you. If you check “Include menu” and “Slip menu, play main movie”, the burned DVD will include DVD menu and play directly the main movie instead of sticking at the main menu. Press the menu on the remote control, it will stop play and directly skip to main menu.

Step 5. Click "Start Copy" button to start copying DVD movie.
Note: If you copy from a Video-DVD disc to a blank DVD disc. The DVD movie copier will pop up a message box reminding you to select target disc type. There are three options (D5, D9, Custom ) to select.
Here is my own D9, D5 video disc copy test results:
- D9->D9 and D5->D5 are copying directly from source DVD, there is no compression process. Of course, the play effect is not affected.
- D9->D5: Compression process a little bit affect the burned DVD video. There is little mosaic effect occurred in the scene when the little lion is fast running.
Step 6. Copy to DVD movie to Temporary File Folder.
In this step, the DVD movie copier will copy DVD to your computer temporary file folder. When copying, it will display the copying progress in main interface.
Step 7. Copy DVD movie to target disc
If you chosed copy DVD to a DVD disc, it will pop up a message box, telling you ”Please insert an empty disc to write to...”. At the same time your DVD RW Drive will eject. Insert a blank DVD, then click ” Retry” button.
Step 8. Complete Copy DVD Movie
Once finish copying, Xilisoft DVD Movie Copy software will pop up a message box show that the process is successful and copy information including “Source”, “Target”, “Copy mode”, “Compress ratio” and ”Time”
